Installation REQUIRES cutting the driver side Original Equipment (O.E.) tail pipe assembly. This 3" diameter BORLA® mid-section is a True Dual design and was tuned specifically for the Ram TRX. It features the aggressive ATAK® sound and provides a more exciting driving experience without any drone. The mid-section contains Borla's unique SwitchFire® X-Pipe technology that eliminates the turbulent center intersection of a standard X-Pipe while truly blending the combustion pulses from both sides of the engine for increased performance and improved sound. The sound is further tuned via our Polyphonic Harmonizer Technology which utilizes patented units that contain pipes of different diameters and lengths to create multiple exhaust notes that harmonize to deliver a clean, rich, full-bodied sound. The result is an aggressive custom sound and improved power. The O.E. tailpipes are Resonance Free pipes, see the video for more information about them., The O.E. tail pipes are reused with the BORLA® 60717 mid-section. Use O.E. tips, or optional BORLA® tips to complete this system. The optional BORLA® tips are available in bright chrome on T-304 stainless steel, black chrome on T-304 stainless steel, or black coated T-304 stainless steel Brawler style configurations. Built from premium T-304 stainless steel, superior to T-400 series (such as 409), to give you the absolute best in performance and durability.
